For those who don't know what I am talking about (Follow me through Facebook to know a lot more!) I am making an Indie Guide A-Z! This will be a huge project and a enormous pleasure to do! So .. what am I going to do? Everyday, I'm going to show you a different brand of Indie Nail Polishes (and some of their major stockists too!! )

Your Name: Andrea Matillano-Funkhouser, Amber Matillano Werzinski, Alexa Matillano 

Brand Name: Tillie Polish

Where are you from? Northeastern Pennsylvania

When have you started? November 2012

Is there  a story behind the name of your brand? Our last name is pronounced Muh-tillie-on-oh, so we chose the name Tillie based on our last name.

How many polishes/collections have you created? We have created three collections and 16 polishes so far.

Is there a special polish/collection? Why? We love all of our collections, so it is hard to pick a special one! We do tend to love our Spring Collection because we have a special place in our hearts for pastel polishes.

Do you have a best seller? Beach Babe, a coral pink, is our best seller.

Where you a polish addicted before starting making polishes? Yes! We all love nail polish so much. Together, we probably have well over 1,000.

Did you have a blog before making polishes or have you started one after? Andrea has a video blog on YouTube that she had before we began Tillie Polish (youtube.com/andreamatillano). She started a beauty blog afterwards (andreamatillano.com).

Whats your favorite thing about making polishes? We love choosing the colors and names. It is so much fun to brainstorm different colors for each seasonal collection. We also love seeing our polishes on our customers' nails!

Can you tell us a curious thing that has happened to you with some client or something funny? Because we say that our polish is 4-free, meaning that it is free of the four biggest toxins that are often found in nail polish, we usually get quite a few emails asking how they can get four nail polishes for free!

Is there anything you'd Like to share: Our polish is free of the four biggest toxins often found in nail polish, super long-lasting, and it generally covers the nail in one coat!

Do you ship international? As of right now, we do not. However, we are looking for suppliers to work with who will ship our polish internationally!
