This blue polish is 1 of the 7 new colors from the latest colection! This is the 3rd blue from this brand and is a medium blue. Scroll down for a blue comparison.

Este lindo azul é uma das 7 novas cores acabadas de lançar pela Purple Profissional! Este azul tem um tom intermédio entre os dois azuis que a marca já havia lançado. Abaixo comparações entre os 3 azuis.

Hoje tenho três roxinhos / violetas da Purple Profissional para vos mostrar!


Purple Professional currently has 4 Purple polishes on its range of colors and I'll be comparing 3 of them today. On a followup post I'll compare this ones with the 4th one. When I received the darker on I had already took this pictures.
A Purple actualmente tem 4 violetas/ roxos na linha de vernizes. Hoje vou comparar apenas três porque quando recebi o 4º já tinha feito estas fotos. Em breve vou comparar os 4.

About the Brushes:
Sobre os Pinceis:

As you know I have already declared my love for this brand and this brushes. They are round and flat and just perfect for application. I always enjoy painting my nails with one of this babies.

Como a maioria de vocês já deve saber eu declarei paixão à marca e aos pincéis. Os pinceis da Purple são redondos e achatados o que os torna maravilhosos para a aplicação precisa, fácil e rápida. Adoro pintar as unhas com estes meninos.

About the polishes:
Sobre os vernizes:

Nr.9

Nr 9 is the darker one of this tree purples. and 36 is the lighter of them all and my have a rubberish-creamy finishing (with tc the finish becomes just creamy). All polishes have two coats and no top coat on the pictures.

The drying time of this polishes is very very good, 1-2min tops.

O número 9 é o verniz mais escuro destes 3. O 36 é o mais claro, sendo que tem um acabamento ligeiramente emborrachado-cremoso, tornando-se cremoso com um topcoat. Todos os vernizes têm apenas duas camadas e não têm topcoat. O tempo de secagem é óptimo, cerca de 1-2min. 

If I need them all?! Obviously! They are unique colors and each one is beautiful on its own way! Besides... look at them and think of nail art.. spots.. lines... gradientes... yammi right!?

Se preciso de todos?! Claro!!! São cores unicas e cada uma delas é lindissima! Além disso.. olhem para estas cores e pensem em nail art... pontos... linhas.. gradientes... yammii!?

Catrice I Wear my Sunglasses at Night

Hi my lovely readers!

As I promised a while ago here is the comparison between Catrice - I wear my sunglasses at night and Essence Color3!  - Ticket to the Show!

Here it is!

Como havia prometido há uns tempos, eis a comparação entre o Essence Color3! -Ticket to the show e o Catrice - I wear my sunglasses at night!

Catrice - I Wear my Sunglasses at Night

Essence Color3!  - Ticket to the show

All nails have Catrice except for the ring finger nail where I have Essence. You can see detailed review on Essence- Ticket to the show here.

Todas as unhas têm o Catrice excepto a do dedo anelar que tem o essence. Podem ver a review do essence aqui.

My Conclusions:

I do see a slightly difference between the glitters from both  polishes but they are both so dark than you need to be very still looking at both to notice that Catrice has like 5% more glitters than essence. So I totally needed to get the Catrice (thanks Dulce!)

This Catrice took me two coats to reach full opacity and dried super fast! Whoowo! 

PS: I heard/read that this polish would be bumpy and hards to the touch after dry.. well I didn't agree 100% but with a good topcoat its perfect (Used Purple Super Dry).

As minhas conclusões:

De facto vejo uma diferença de 5% entre os glitters do catrice ( mais intensos) e os do Essence. No entanto, ambos os vernizes são tão escuros que é preciso ter olho e paciência para notar a diferença. Em conclusão, claro que precisava do Catrice ( Obrigado Dulce!!).

Este Catrice "gastou" duas camadas para opacidade total e secou super rápido!
PS: Ouvi dizer / leia-se 'li' que o verniz deixava um acabamento rugoso e áspero.. não posso concordar a 100%, não é assim tão aspero e também não é nada que um bom topcoat não resolva. Usei o Purple Super Dry.

Mint Green Obcession? Not at all

Hi girls!!

Today's post is different.. you are going to tell me if I am or not obcessed with mint green! I'm pretty sure I am not.. Humm... I actually thought I had much more mint green polishes.. as I only have two I can now continue my minty adventure.. don't you think??

Any advives on brands with this color?

Comparisons with Flaked Top Coats: Essence vs. Ludurana

Hi girls!! How are you?!

Remember my post about Mollon Nail polishes a couple days ago? (here)

Olá meninas!! Como estão?!

Lembram-se do meu post sobre os Mollon?! (aqui)

The day I did the swatching I went on a small comparison adventure between The New  Essence Top Coats and a Ludurana Flacked. 

No dia que os testei fiz uma pequena comparação de coberturas entre os novos Essence e um Ludurama Flocado.

So.. in the picture we have Mollon (nr19 Blue Symphony) as base color and Ludurana Vento (Wind) in the middle and pinky finger. No Top Coats!

Na figura abaixo vêm o Mollon 19 Blue Symphony como cor base e no dedo médio e mindinho o Ludurana vento. Sem top coat.

They are totally not alike. Cliché has a much more vivid shimmer and a lot more glitter. Its also much more shinny. 


Não têm nada a ver um com o outro, o Cliché tem um brilho muito mais intenso e muitomais glitter. É muto mais brilhante que o discreto Risqué..

They are the most alike ones in the collection. Yet again, Cliché has more shimmer than Risqué. No need to have both it you are not a collector!


Acho-os os mais semelhantes de toda a colecção. No entanto e mais uma vez o Cliché tem mais brilho que o Risqué. Não acho necessário ter os dois a não ser que coleccionem!

- VIP / Besouro

My Opinion:
A minha Opinião:




They are super different. Risqué is super duochrome ( Purple Green), however Cliché VIP has a similar color to the purple of Cliche. Yet again Cliché is more shimmery than Risque and very poorly "duochromish"!  To those who may think, like me at first, that VIP is a Shimmery version of Reggae.. you are wrong. Reggae is much lighter and more duochrome  than VIP.


São mesmo muito diferentes. Todos. O risqué Besouro é MESMO um duochrome (Verde e Roxo). O Cliché VIP é maioritariamente igual ao roxo do Risqué.  Mais uma vez o cliché é mais brilhante que o Risqué mas é muito fraquinho em dupla cor. Para aquel@s que acharem, como eu ao inicio, que o VIP era uma verão brilhante do Reggae, estão enganados. O Reggae é muito mais clarinho e é mais duocrome que o VIP.
