Douglas Spice it Up [Summer Edition]

Today I'm showing you the new Summer 2012 Limited Edition Spice it up

Hoje vou-vos mostrar o mais novo verniz da Douglas, o Spice it Up - Edição Limitada, verão 2012.

About the Polish:

Sobre o Verniz

This polish is a brand new color from Douglas Nail polish line and has a very tanned orange/rust color!

The finishing is a typical metallic with brush marks (Alert to those who hate them!). 

Perfect cover with two coats. Applies easily and cleans just as easy. Drying time is quite reasonable. 

What I disliked about it was that it chipped less than 48h later.

Este verniz é a mais nova cor da Douglas e pertence a uma pequena colecção de pó de rosto, lápis e baton? se não estou em erro, todos na cor bronze/ laranja enferrujado.

Quanto ao verniz tem a cor acima mencionada e um acabamento foi/metalizado com claras mcas de pincél (Alerta a quem as detesta!!).

A fórmula é bastante boa, tem boa cobertura, 2 camadas para opacidade total. A aplicação é bastante fácil tal como a remoção. O tempo de secagem é bastante razoável.

O que menos gostei neste verniz foi a duração. Apesa de lindíssimo, nem dois dias tinha quando lascou!

This is what I am showing you today.. 

I bought this Douglas nail polish around last Christmas time.. and only a couple weeks ago I used it.. even tested a Ludurana with it.. but didn't like much the outcome.

What do you think?

Eis o verniz que vos vou mostrar hoje!
Comprei este menino, na Douglas, por volta do Natal passado e só o testei há umas semanitas.. Acabei por testar também como ficaria um Ludurana por cima.. não gostei nada do resultado.. o que acham?

About the polish:

Sobre o verniz:

This nail polish, has a dark green color and  with a very good formula, just like his brothers ( see here ). 

Two coats were enough to reach full opacity and it dried quite fast. I applied Ludurana Relampago right on top of that two coats and right after that Kiss Mulifast top coat.

Did you like how it turned out? I didn't like it .. 

Este verniz, de cor verde escura tem uma pigmentação bastante boa, tal qual os seus irmãos ( ver aqui).

Duas camadas foram suficientes para total opacidade. Secou bastante rápido e apliquei imediatamente o Ludurana Relampago, seguido do Kiss Multifast Topcoat. 

 Vocês gostaram?? Eu não gostei muito..

Hoje venho mostrar-vos mais  um vernizinho da Douglas, dos que comprei por altura do Natal.

Today I’m showing you another amazing polish from Douglas limited collection.  I bought them all by Christmas time. By now, at my local Douglas they are almost all gone.

About the polish:
Sobre o verniz:

First note! The formula is super pigmented and very thick! Omg! I had to apply it very carefully, very few polish in the first coat so it would not smudge or make a mess of my cuticules.

Besides that tinny problem the polish is way too gorgeous.  The brush is normal, flawless. The shine amazing, I used no top coat.

Primeira nota! A formula é super pigmentada e espessa! Super mesmo! Tive que aplica-lo com imenso cuidado, muito pouco na primeira camada para não borrar as cutículas.

Fora esse  pequeno problema o verniz é fantástico. O pincel é óptimo, sem falhas.

O brilho das fotos é todo dele. Sem top coat.

 Hoje venho mostrar-vos o primeiro verniz da Edição Limitada Absolute Douglas!

Número 13 Precious.

Today I’ll show you one of my first Nail polishes from the  Limited Edition Absolute Douglas.

Number 13 Precious.

Comprei esta colecção na loja Douglas do Fórum Almada. Por esta altura já não há nenhuma destas cores que mostrei aqui. O último que comprei ( o azul) tive encomendar de outra loja. De qualquer modo a relação qualidade preço não é má. Cada frasquinho contém 11mL e custa 4.50€, o frasquinho é bonito e a tampa é dupla ( tampa exterior quadrada e interior+pincel redonda). ( Todas as minhas cores aqui).

I  bought this collection at Douglas when it arrived. It is almost all gone by now. Actually, the last polish I bought, I had to order it from other store.  Anyway, it costs  4.50€ and has 11mL, pretty bottle and double cap. Here is the hole collection (post) and my stach (here).

About the Polish:

Sobre o Verniz:

This polish has an amazing formula. It is very pigmented and the color is super pretty. The polish is very fluid and the brush is very soft and large.

I applied two coats to cover the entire nail and I was very satisfied with the outcome.

Duration was medium ~2-3days.

Este verniz tem uma  optima fórmula. É bem pigmentado e a cor é super bonita.  O verniz é muito fluído e o pincel é largo e macio.

Apliquei duas camadas e foram suficientes para cobrir toda a unha.

A duração foi média, cerca de 2-3 dias.

After 3 days,  some nails chipped and since I had no time to redo them all I corrected some chipped tips and applied Claire’s Black Glitter  on all nails. I only had this for 1 day. Looked like this

Ao fim de uns 3 dias lascou e como não tinha tempo de o trocar, retoquei as pontas e apliquei o glitter da Claire’s em todas as unhas.  Só usei isto um dia. Ficou assim:
