For those who don't know what I am talking about (Follow me through Facebook to know a lot more!) I am making an Indie Guide A-Z! This will be a huge project and a enormous pleasure to do! So .. what am I going to do? Everyday, I'm going to show you a different brand of Indie Nail Polishes (and some of their major stockists too!! )

Your Name: Elizabeth
Brand Name: Starry Earth

Where are you from? Tampa, Florida
When did you start? April 2012

Is there a story behind the name of your brand? A couple years ago, I was trying to get into making items with clay, so that is where the “earth” part came from (that endeavor failed epically btw) and I’ve always had “Star” or some form in most usernames online and it stuck as a nickname a few years ago on a gaming site so, I wanted to include that somehow and so Starry Earth was created!

How many polishes/collections have you created? I have created about 30 different polishes, 3 collections (Princess, Wizard and Time Travel in Style) with some standalone and holiday polishes.

Is there a special polish/collection? Why? My most recent collection is the Time Travel in Style Collection which is based on the Back to the Future trilogy. They have been my favorite movies since I was about 4.

Were you a polish addicted before starting making polishes? Yes! My obsession started about 4 months before I started making polishes and has just gotten worse since!

Did you have a blog before making polishes or have you started one after? I attempted to start one after based on polish and books but I haven’t actually started posting on it.

What’s your favorite thing about making polishes? The best part is using the glitters to find interesting combinations and then finding glitter everywhere afterwards.

Can you tell us a curious thing that has happened to you with some client or something funny? I had one customer from Australia and since the polishes had to travel so far, I wrapped each individually with 3 layers and then all as a group for another 2, in addition to the protection from the envelope. I was SO worried it wasn't enough. It made it safety and she probably had a good laugh from the amount of bubble wrap.

Is there anything you'd like to share: All my polishes are 3-free! Keep an eye out on my facebook fanpage for announcements of upcoming collections (I've got a few tv related collections in the works) and coupon codes!
