For those who don't know what I am talking about (Follow me through Facebook to know a lot more!) I am making an Indie Guide A-Z!

This will be a huge project and a enormous pleasure to do! So .. what am I going to do? Everyday, I'm going to show you a different brand of Indie Nail Polishes (and some of their major stockists too!! )

Para quem não sabe do que eu estou a falar ( basta seguirem-me também no Facebook para saberem as novidades em primeira mão ) estou a fazer um Guia de Vernizes Indie.

Este é um projecto enorme e muito trabalhoso que tenho imenso prazer de partilhar convosco!
Então, o que é que vou fazer? Todos os dias, vou-vos mostrar uma marca diferente de vernizes indies com entrevistas com as meninas ( e meninos) que os fazem! Além disso, tambem vos vou trazer entrevistas com as maiores lojas onde eles se vendem!

Your Name: Jamie Lohr

Brand Name: Sea Lore Polish

Where are you from? Fullerton, CA

When have you started? I started developing my line and polishes early 2012, and released my first collection in July 2012.

Is there a story behind the name of your brand? Growing up in California, the beach has always been a huge part of my life. I was tossing around names with my mom and my mom suggested Sea Lore, as its a play on my name. My full name is Jamie C Lohr, the J in Jamie is represented in the mermaid shape, the C is Sea, and Lohr is Lore.

How many polishes/collections have you created? I currently have two collections, Tritons Daughters which has 7 polishes and Wintry Friends which has 5 polishes.

Is there a special polish/collection? All of my polishes contain a micro fine shimmer that I'm now known for.

Where you a polish addict before starting making polishes? Oh yes, I've always loved polish since I was a little girl. In high school I started branching out with my color choices and have been an avid collector ever since!

Did you have a blog before making polishes or have you started one after? I didn't have a blog before starting my polish line, but I have Sealore.net now and update my Facebook, twitter, and Instagram accounts as much as possible.

Whats your favorite thing about making polishes? I've always been super crafty and creative, so this is another way I can put those qualities to good use.

Can you tell us a curious thing that has happened to you with some client or something funny? When I first launched my line I mentioned that people can make special requests and I jokingly said I could draw a picture of a dinosaur on their package. I've had several requests since, including a merman riding on a killer whale!!

Is there anything you'd Like to share: I appreciate each and every one of my customers, and want every purchase from me to be above and beyond normal expectations. I try to get my orders packed and ready to go within a couple days of receiving them, gift wrap each and every order as well as include some candies.
