For those who don't know what I am talking about (Follow me through Facebook to know a lot more!) I am making an Indie Guide A-Z! This will be a huge project and a enormous pleasure to do! So .. what am I going to do? Everyday, I'm going to show you a different brand of Indie Nail Polishes (and some of their major stockists too!! )

Para quem não sabe do que eu estou a falar ( basta seguirem-me também no Facebook para saberem as novidades em primeira mão ) estou a fazer um Guia de Vernizes Indie. Este é um projecto enorme e muito trabalhoso que tenho imenso prazer de partilhar convosco!

Então, o que é que vou fazer? Todos os dias, vou-vos mostrar uma marca diferente de vernizes indies com entrevistas com as meninas ( e meninos) que os fazem! Além disso, tambem vos vou trazer entrevistas com as majores lojas onde eles se vendem!

Your Name: Erika, Mari and Miriam.

Brand Name: Rockstar Nails

Where are you from? We currently live in Fresno, Ca.However, we were all born in Mexico.

When have you started? Erika started making nail polishes around April of this year. Then we all joined in.

Is there a story behind the name of your brand? We chose Rockstar Nails because our nail polishes have that rockstar look that you get at the nail salons when you layer our nail polishes with and without color underneath.

How many polishes/collections have you created? We have lost count as to how many nail polishes we have made, but overall, we'd have to say a little over 100 nail polishes designed.

Is there a special polish/collection? IWhy? We are in love with our fall/ winter collection, which is our most recent collection. We love the effect those nail polishes have given us. We have some nail polishes that when used alone, look like a nice sunny winter day full of snow, sleighing and hot chocolate (Winter Wonderland), and another one that just makes whatever color nail polish you're wearing underneath look like it has a thin layer of snow (Snowtacular)!

Where you a polish addicted before starting making polishes? We all loved nail polish prior to making our own, but after making our own, we just fell crazy in love with all kinds of nail polish! Our addiction was so crazy that for a while, all that we would get in the mail was nail polish orders, lol.

Did you have a blog before making polishes or have you started one after? We just don't have the time to have and maintain our own blog, so we do not have one.

Whats your favorite thing about making polishes? We love to experiment with new glitters and colors and get inspired by things around us such as the beach, fall leaves turning yellow and orange, and anything else inspired by nature.

Can you tell us a curious thing that has happened to you with some client or something funny? We recently had a huge order of nail polishes to do for a client, and we thought it was cute that she wanted every single color we offer. It was one of those wow moments where you realize you're not the only one that loves our nail polishes.
