For those who don't know what I am talking about (Follow me through Facebook to know a lot more!) I am making an Indie Guide A-Z!
This will be a huge project and a enormous pleasure to do! So .. what am I going to do? Everyday, I'm going to show you a different brand of Indie Nail Polishes (and some of their major stockists too!! )

Este é um projecto enorme e muito trabalhoso que tenho imenso prazer de partilhar convosco!
Então, o que é que vou fazer? Todos os dias, vou-vos mostrar uma marca diferente de vernizes indies com entrevistas com as meninas ( e meninos) que os fazem! Além disso, tambem vos vou trazer entrevistas com as maiores lojas onde eles se vendem!

Where are you from? Chicago, IL
When have you started? Our official launch was June 2, 2007
Is there a story behind the name of your brand? A buddy Cory and I had talked previously about creating a matte black nail polish with the thought that it would really appeal to guys. Not much came of it until one night when we were headed out to see GWAR. In anticipation of being covered in GWAR fluids, he kept goofin' on the word "man-glaze". After the Jägermeister kicked in one of us figured out that it would be a really stupid idea to name that matte nail polish - ManGlaze. Once we sobered up it still seemed like a bad enough idea, so we somehow made it happen.
How many polishes/collections have you created? I think we have 15 in total at the moment. 13 matte colors and 2 top coats.
Is there a special polish/collection? Why? We're pretty random about releasing colors. For the first few years we only had our black & grey. Never really planned on making more but our fans kept encouraging us. I'd say they're all special enough.
Where you a polish addicted before starting making polishes? I wasn't cause what I wanted to wear, matte nail polish, didn't exist back then. I experimented a bit with Sharpie's on occasion. Cory's a kiteboarder and had been painting his toes before we started up.
Did you have a blog before making polishes or have you started one after? No, I didn't have a blog myself. We started blogging back in 2007 but nowadays mostly we just hang out on facebook & twitter.
Whats your favorite thing about making polishes? Hearing back from people telling us they "love" the stuff. It makes my day every day. Also, core to ManGlaze is that we're independent of any real corporate structure. So we enjoy doing whatever the hell we want.
Can you tell us a curious thing that has happened to you with some client or something funny? A gentleman never tells.
